Nakata, Nobuaki

Nobuaki Nakata was born in 1975 in Kyoto. He entered the Toho Gakuen School soloist diploma course beginning to aim to become a musician while attending school to the specialty Tsukuba University School of Medicine and Medical Sciences. The conductor method was learnt while majoring in the contrabass. He started an active activity at time of the school days.

He performed to the concert of the Okinawa music festival in 1998, and the performance was recorded and broadcast by the cooperation of ANA. Additionally, a Hungarian symphony orchestra and the Donau symphony orchestra were commanded in the Hungarian international conductor seminar in which it had participated so far and the orchestra and the Lige Cherubini orchestra of the music festival were conducted in Musica Riva Festival (Italy).

The special organization orchestra composed of the principal member of a professional each orchestra in Tokyo was conducted in the gala concert by All Mozart program and it received a fevoreble reception in May, 2003.

In June, 2007, he guested in a state opera house (Bulgaria) in Stara Zagora, "Carmina Burana" performance with Foro Romano was led to the success, and the re-guesting to this opera house of the next season was requested immediately.

He has studied under Ryuji Uesugi, Jun-ichi Hirokami, Yuji Yuasa, Michael Ditorich, Isarc Karabtchevsky so far. It is admitted by great master Jean Fournet in France, and the education has been received directly in France and the Netherlands in recent years.

He lives in Europe since 2005. Thick trust and the expectation are being sent to his ability also by soloists with whom Kei Ito and Jan Pospishal, etc. have co-starred so far.

He acquired Diploma di Merito with academia Kigearna (Italy) in playing the contrabass in 1997. He became a Geneva international semi-contest finalist in 1998. He was the top contrabass player of New Japan Philharmonic from 2000 to 2005. He learnt from 2005 to 2007 by the Vienna Academy of Music ancient music department, and acted as an ancient music player. He becomes the member of the Valencia state opera house orchestra at 2006-2007 seasons to which Lorin Maazel serves as the musical director, and becomes the sub-top contrabass player at 2007-2008 seasons.
